Diana Winston is a mindfulness teacher, writer, and the Director of Mindfulness Education at the UCLA Semel Institute’s Mindful Awareness Research Center. Her work has been discussed in the New York Times, O Magazine, Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, and many other journals. She is the author of The Little Book of Being, Wide Awake: A Buddhist Guide for Teens, and co-author, with Susan Smalley PhD, of Fully Present: The Science, Art, and Practice of Mindfulness. Diana is also a member of the Teacher’s Council at Spirit Rock Meditation Center where she was trained to teach by Jack Kornfield.
